Hey friend,
I've done something that would have terrified me six months ago.
I've made my first YouTube video!
You know how I've been writing to you about becoming comfortable with the uncomfortable? Well, this is me taking my own advice - although it nearly brought me to tears!
The video is called "Midlife Crisis to Life Purpose: My Transformation Story" and it's basically me, sitting in my study in New Zealand, sharing the start of my transformation journey when everything shifted for me after I walked 40 across Spain.
It's nothing fancy. No perfect lighting or professional setup. Just me, being honest about the questions that scared me the most — and why asking them was the real transformation.
Here's the thing: I almost gave up!
After struggling for the first 3 hours trying to learn how to use a gimmel and new camera software, that old voice in my head piped up and said, "You're too old to try and learn all this new technology! What if no one watches? What if they think you're ridiculous? Just give up now."
But then I remembered my own advice to push through when things feel uncomfortable. To pause and rethink. Can I do this in a way that is simpler and easier? Can I do this in a way that is enjoyable? Yes I can!
So here I am, feeling thoroughly brand new at this but doing it anyway.
Watch it here:
What a great lesson for me - I don't need to have it all figured out. I just needed to begin. Same with your journey of transformation as well. Take a rest. Take some breaths.
What is one small step you can do today towards moving forward in your dreams and goals?

P.S. If video isn't your thing, don't worry — I'm not abandoning these letters. This is just another way of walking alongside you on this journey of becoming. The weekly letters will keep coming, same as always.
Know someone who needs to hear my story? Forward this letter to them — or share the video. We're all better when we support each other through the becoming.
Such a brave step to do YouTube.... Go you!!! 😊❤️
